Role Overview 🚀
The Global Partnership Executive will play a key role in discovering and onboarding new benefit partners into the Marketplace, building strong commercial relationships from the outset. They will work closely with internal stakeholders to help create, negotiate, and implement partnership agreements, ensuring all solutions are commercially sound and deliverable within Benifex’s Marketplace framework.
This role will also contribute to building and templating scalable partner solutions, capturing repeatable models that can be rolled out across different regions and benefit types. The individual will support go-to-market (GTM) activity, ensuring that new partner launches and benefit propositions are delivered successfully and embedded effectively across Benifex products and customer channels.
Fluency in both German and English is essential, as the role will involve frequent communication with local benefit providers and internal UK-based teams.
The role provides a strong foundation for progression within Partnerships and offers exposure to commercial, operational, and customer success areas.
Responsibilities 🤘
- Represent Benifex’s Marketplace in Germany and Europe, building and managing relationships with local benefit providers.
- Lead partner onboarding in collaboration with UK Marketplace and Legal teams, ensuring commercial alignment and compliance.
- Negotiate and structure scalable partnership models tailored to regional needs.
- Curate the German and European Marketplace offering by translating market insights into partnership propositions and supporting go-to-market activities.
- Monitor partner performance and market feedback to drive continuous improvement and commercial impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless partner integration and launch.
- Contribute to process improvements and share German and European market insights to inform global Marketplace strategy.
- Lead relationships with key providers, acting as the primary contact and point of escalation to ensure the successful performance of our Marketplace providers, including responsibility for regular business review calls and on going accountability for that partner within Benifex.
- Ability to hold Partners accountable for the production of timely and accurate information to understand their performance, include Finance MI, invoicing, and payments in line with contractual obligations.
- Ensure senior stakeholders are kept informed on any issues with partners, including propositional changes, contractual changes, revenue changes etc.
- Use initiative to strengthen provider relationships and their benefit propositions.
- Articulate local benefits knowledge.
- Create and negotiate Marketplace Agreements.
- Maintain and deliver adherence to the Marketplace provider framework, ensuring compliance, financial, and security reviews are conducted regularly.
- Support internal stakeholders with partnership queries and escalations, via teams, Jira, in person, calls etc.
- As part of the partnership management, creation and presentation of partner MI packs/presentations to support strategic growth conversations, including trends and relevant data
What are we looking for? 🔎
- Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
- A genuine interest in employee benefits, digital marketplaces, or technology-enabled services.
- Proven experience in senior stakeholder management.
- Demonstrable experience in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders within organisations.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Demonstrable Excel knowledge.
- Commercial awareness, including understanding contracts.
- Ability to negotiate commercial terms with providers.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to work with data to create and analyse partner performance and trends, to present back to internal and external stakeholders
- Some experience or exposure to partner management, supplier coordination, or account management (internship, placement, or early career role).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and maintain relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for handling and analysing data.
