Role overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering multiple customer projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to an agreed high standard. You’ll work with a diverse portfolio of complex, global enterprise customers, collaborating closely with internal delivery teams and senior stakeholders. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment, you’ll apply a proven project methodology while confidently adapting your approach for bespoke and custom projects. This is a predominantly work-from-home role, with occasional travel to customer sites across the UK and optional access to our Southampton office.
Responsibilities
Plan, implement and manage multiple customer projects from initiation through to delivery
Create and maintain detailed project plans, identifying activities, timelines, resources and dependencies
Manage project scope, risks, issues and change requests to ensure successful outcomes
Track progress against agreed plans, managing deadlines and driving teams to deliver on time
Provide clear project updates, feedback, advice and encouragement to project team members
Establish and manage communication schedules for customers and internal stakeholders
Produce and deliver clear, compelling project documentation, proposals and presentations
Present project updates and outcomes to senior customer representatives and key stakeholders
Build trusted advisor relationships with senior-level customers and internal executive teams
Support sales pitches by articulating the project approach and delivery methodology
Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess outcomes and identify improvement opportunities
Act as a role model within the Project Management team, supporting and developing others
What we are looking for
A minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully managing multiple projects, ideally in software or solutions delivery
Proven experience delivering large, complex customer projects
A strong track record of managing competing priorities and meeting challenging deadlines
A proactive, accountable completer-finisher with a strong sense of ownership
Confidence using project management and reporting tools such as Air-table, JIRA or MS Project
A recognised project management qualification
A problem-solving mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo and remove barriers
Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
