Role Overview 🚀
The Country Partnerships Manager – Ireland will be responsible for developing and executing the partnership strategy for the Irish market, building and nurturing a high-quality ecosystem of benefit providers, insurers, and retail partners within the Benifex Marketplace.
This role owns the full partnership lifecycle end-to-end — from market research and opportunity identification, through proactive outreach and commercial discussions, to structuring partnership models tailored to each partner type. The role will lead due diligence, commercial and contractual negotiation, and onboarding, ensuring each partner is set up for long-term success within the Benifex ecosystem.
Crucially, this is not a transactional role. The individual will be responsible for actively managing and optimising a curated panel of Irish partners, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive performance, improve propositions, and maximise mutual value over time. This requires strong influence, commercial confidence, and the ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders across multiple organisations.
While the role sits under the stewardship of the Head of Global Marketplace Partnerships, it is not execution-only. The successful candidate will be expected to proactively shape the Irish partnership strategy, contributing to proposals, building business cases, and presenting recommendations on where and how Benifex should grow. The role requires a high level of ownership, initiative, and the ability to work independently, with clear evidence of successfully operating in autonomous, commercially driven environments.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, the role will take strategic direction and translate this into clear market plans, scalable partnership models, and measurable commercial outcomes in Ireland.
Responsibilities 🤘
Partnership Strategy & Market Development
Own and shape the Irish Marketplace partnership strategy, using market insight, data, and commercial awareness to identify where Benifex should play and win. Proactively develop and present strategic proposals, partner priorities, and growth opportunities, influencing direction rather than simply executing against it.
End-to-End Partnership Development
Lead the full partnership lifecycle from market research and prospect identification through to outreach, engagement, and commercial structuring. Conduct in-depth discussions with partners to define tailored partnership models based on their product, service, and commercial objectives, ensuring alignment with Benifex’s Marketplace approach.
Commercial Negotiation, Due Diligence & Contracting
Take ownership of due diligence, commercial modelling, and contract negotiation, ensuring all partnerships are commercially robust, scalable, and aligned to Benifex’s governance frameworks. Confidently negotiate with partners using data, insight, and market positioning to secure optimal outcomes.
Onboarding, Solution Design & Go-to-Market
Own the onboarding process end-to-end, working cross-functionally to design how each partner will operate within the Benifex ecosystem. Define and shape partner propositions, ensuring they are commercially viable, operationally deliverable, and effectively launched across Benifex platforms.
Partner Management, Optimisation & Growth
Build and manage a high-quality panel of Irish partners, taking accountability for their long-term success within the Marketplace. Continuously optimise partner performance, using data, insights, and regular business reviews to improve engagement, commercial outcomes, and employee value. This is an active, ongoing responsibility — not a transactional onboarding role.
Influence & Stakeholder Management
Act as a credible and confident voice both internally and externally, influencing stakeholders across Product, Commercial, Legal, Finance, and partner organisations. Drive alignment, challenge thinking where needed, and ensure partnerships deliver against both local market needs and global strategy.
Independent Ownership & Execution
Operate with a high level of autonomy to identify opportunities, build business cases, and execute partnership initiatives end-to-end. Manage your own pipeline, schedule and lead partner engagements, and maintain momentum without reliance on day-to-day direction.
What are we looking for? 🔎
Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles, with a track record of delivering results.
Demonstrable experience in negotiating commercial agreements and contracts with external partners.
Experience working within or alongside employee benefits, insurance, financial services, or marketplace environments.
Strong experience working with brokers, insurers, benefit providers, or retail/consumer brands.
Proven ability to create and deliver commercial proposals, pitch decks, and business reviews.
Experience using data and insights to inform decisions, negotiations, and partner performance discussions.
Ability to operate independently and manage the full partnership lifecycle from strategy to execution.
Even if you don't meet all of the requirements for this role, we encourage you to apply! We are looking for talented and passionate individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
