Role overview đ
As a Solution Consultant at Benifex, youâll act as the vital bridge between our customers and our internal technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of employee benefits portal implementations. Working across customers of varying size and complexity, youâll gather and translate requirements into high-quality, bestâpractice solutions that deliver an excellent user experience. Youâll take ownership of your designs, confidently explaining technical concepts to nonâtechnical stakeholders while collaborating closely with technical experts. This role suits a proactive, solutionâoriented consultant who enjoys problemâsolving, building relationships and making a real impact on customer outcomes.
Responsibilities đ€
Lead collaboration with customers, brokers and benefit providers throughout implementation projects across UK&I and international markets
Gather, document and analyse customer requirements, producing detailed solution designs aligned to Benifex best practices
Partner with technical colleagues to design feasible, scalable solutions that meet customer goals within Benifex technology
Identify risks, exceptions and edge cases early, designing robust endâtoâend processes and workflows
Deliver solutions with a strong focus on user experience for both employees and customer administrators
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders
Act as a subject matter expert on benefits, Benifex solutions and integrations for internal teams
Support product development initiatives with customer and market insights
Represent Benifex as a solution expert in sales meetings when required
Contribute to and continuously improve Benifex bestâpractice libraries, processes and implementation standards
Share knowledge and act as a role model within the consulting community, supporting the development of others
Continuously research and expand your understanding of the global benefits landscape
What we are looking forđ
Experience in a customerâfacing, requirementsâgathering role within a project delivery environment
Proven ability to deliver multiple customer projects simultaneously
Experience working on system integration projects, ideally HR or Payroll integrations
Strong ownership mindset with a completerâfinisher approach and high accountability
Evidence of proactively driving improvements and constructively challenging the status quo
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex or technical concepts to varied audiences
Confidence in navigating difficult conversations with empathy and fairness
A collaborative team player with a solutionâoriented, problemâsolving mindset
Comfortable working with technology and logical process design
Bonus points for:
Experience in the benefits/HR/ technology/payroll industry in a consulting or implementation role
