Role Overview 🚀
As an Application Integrations Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of systems, applications, and processes across the organisation. By designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between different software systems, you help ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.
Responsibilities 🤘
Configure, customise, and develop integrations using our platforms, APIs, web services, and other relevant technologies.
Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
Scope and implement data transfers.
Test and troubleshoot the solutions you build.
Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing.
We have two vacancies for this role: one 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension, and one permanent position.
What are we looking for? 🔎
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - or a relevant vocational qualification, or a couple of years of relevant work experience.
Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, such as Java, C++, and/or .NET.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues. Excellent communication skills are key to ensuring our customers’ systems integrate effectively with our own. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders, to maintain integrations across multiple systems. We place strong emphasis on personal attributes in this recruitment.
Bonus points for:
Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) protocols and standards such as SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) or OAuth, along with the ability to integrate applications with SSO solutions.
Experience working with integration technologies, APIs, web services, and messaging protocols (e.g. SOAP, REST).
Familiarity with data formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV.
